Amma’s Tales – Retelling Indian Traditional Stories for Children

Amma’s Tales is the main title of a series of books which retell lesser known Indian traditional stories in an innovative method for children. The stories are taken from Ramayana, Mahabharata and Puranas. The ancient tales are reintroduced for children by Hema Vaidyanathan and colorful illustrations help in narration.
For example the latest book in the Amma’s Tales is titled Tail Tales – the book contains three stories from the Ramayana in which Bali is the central figure. The common factor in three stories is the tail of Vali.
