Ayanivayal Sree Kandakulangara Kavu temple is located at Ayanivayal near Azhikode in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Kandakulangara Pothi or Bhagavathi and other deities. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for two days in Malayalam Meda Masam – Medam 13 to Medam 14 (April 26 to April 27).

Sree Kandakulangara Kavu temple are Kandakulangara Pothi theyyam, Gulikan
theyyam, and Padaveeran theyyam.
This is a small shrine with a chathura sreekovil – square
sanctum sanctorum. Some deities are worshipped on square platforms and under
trees. The roof and walls of the main shrine are decorated with traditional
temple motifs. Sankranti in every month is of great significance.
