Ezhimala Ramanthali Thavooriyattu temple is located at Ramanthali near Ezhimala in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to various deities commonly worshipped in kavu and tharavadu in the region. The annual kaliyattam theyyam thira festival is held for five days in Malayalam Dhanu Masam – Dhanu 10 to Dhanu 14 (December 25 to December 29).
The important theyyams that can be witnessed at Ezhimala
Ramanthali Thavooriyattu Tharavadu temple are Oorpzhassi theyyam and
Vettakkorumakan theyyam.
The temple has a small chathura sreekovil for the main
deity. There are other smaller square sanctums. Some deities are worshipped atop
square platforms and other deities under trees. This is a privately maintained tharavadu
temple.
