Chalathur Puthiya Bhagavathy temple is located at Muthukuda Road, Chalathoor, Pulimparamba, Pattuvam, in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Puthiya Bhagavathy. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for four days in Malayalam Makara Masam – Makaram 16 to Makaram 19 (January 30 to Feb 2).
The main deities are worshipped in chathura sreekovil – square sanctum sanctorum. There are other sreekovils for other deities. Some important deities are worshipped atop square platforms and under trees. Vishu is an important festival here. Sankranti in every Malayalam month is of great importance.
