Kanjirathinkal Ghantakarna – Devi Temple

Kanjirathinkal Ghantakarna – Devi Temple is located on Eramalloor - Ezhupunna in Alappuzha district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy and Ghantakarna (Shaiva Gana). The annual festival in the temple is held in Dhanu Masam (January).

This is a traditional Kerala style temple with a chathura sreekovil. The temple has a chuttambalam, namaskara mandapam, and kodimara. The temple has two sanctum sanctorum. The upa devatas worshipped in the temple include Rakshas and Ganpati.

The annual festival in the temple is famous for ezhunnallathu, caparisoned elephants, traditional performing temple art forms of Kerala, melam and music. The pujas in the temple are as per Shakteya and Shaiva tradition.

Monday, Tuesdays and Fridays are the important days in the temple.
