Changanassery Vazhappally Morkulangara Devi temple is located at Vazhappally near Changanassery in Kottayam district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy. The annual festival in the temple is held in Meena Masam and it coincides with the Meena Bharani day.
The sankalpam of Bhagavathi is that of Goddess Bhadrakali who has just annihilated Demon Darika. The murti of Bhagavathi is more than 6 feet high.
This a small shrine with a nalambalam, chathura sreekovil, temple pond and namaskara mandapam. There are shrines of upa devatas.
Caparisoned elephant, melam, shakti temple rituals and pujas and ezhunnallathu are part of the annual festival.
Saptaham, niramala, abhishekam, Navratri pujas and Thrikarthika vilakku are part of the annual festival.
