Puranattukara Mahavishnu temple is located at Puranattukara near Sri Ramakrishna Ashram in Thrissur district, Kerala.
The Mahavishnu worshipped in the temple is Santanagopalan. The deity faces east. The Upa Devata in the temple are Ganapathy.
The temple has a big pond in the front side. Valiyambala, Balikalpura, Koothambalam, Gopurathara, Muka Mandapam and Anappallamathil are part of this huge temple which was once a Mahakshetram.
It is believed that Poonthanam and Kurooramma had sat on Bhajanam here.
