Baba Bhusandeswar Temple near Balasore in Odisha - 12-foot Huge Shiva lingam is Worshipped Here

Baba Bhusandeswar Temple is dedicated to Shiva and is located in a remote village called Kumbhirgadi in Bhogarai block of Balasore District in Odisha. The huge Shivling is 12 feet in height and 12 feet in diameter. The Shiva Lingam is carved out of a single block of granite stone.

Only 12 feet is visible rest is buried underground. The Shivling has three parts. It has a square base of four feet. The middle portion is octagonal and is about 12 feet in diameter and about four feet in height. The top portion is in the normal Shivling form.

The Shivling is slightly tilted towards right.
