Kalpadi Navami

Kalpadi Navami is an auspicious day observed in Northern parts of India by certain Hindu communities. Navami is the ninth day in a fortnight in a traditional Hindu lunar calendar. Kalpadi Navami 2025 date is November 29.

Kalpadi Navami is observed mainly on the ninth day (navami) during shukla paksha (waxing phase of moon) of in Margashirsh month.

On the same day Mahananda Navami is also observed by certain communities in North India.

The main observance includes holy dip in River Ganga.
