On Dhanteras falling two days before Diwali, people perform Lakshmi Puja in some regions. The puja is performed during the Shubh Time. In 2011, Dhanteras is on October 24 and the Muhurat or Good time to perform puja are
06:37 AM to 08:04 AM - Amrut
9:30 AM to 10:56 AM - Shubh
01:49 PM to 03:16 PM - Chal
3:17 PM to 4:42 PM - Labh
3:17 PM to 4:42 PM - Labh
04:43 PM to 6:09 AM - Amrut
Please note that the time is based on Indian Standard Time.
