Dashain 2013 dates – Dasain Navratri in Nepal

Dashain is the 10-day Hindu festival in Nepal dedicated to Mother Goddess Shakti. Dasain 2013 falls in Ashwin month and the festival is popularly known as Navratri and Durga Puja in India. Dashain 2013 begins on October 5. Dashain 2013 dates are:
Ghatsthapana first day of Dashain – October 5, 2013
Fulpati Seventh day of Dasain – October 11, 2013
Ashtami or Kal Ratri – October 12, 2013
Navami – October 13, 2013
Vijayadasami 10th and final day of Dashain – October 13, 2013.
The first nine day of Dashain is also referred as Dashain in many regions of Nepal.
