Hari Tritiya is observed three days after no moon day or Amavasi in the Shravan month as per the traditional Hindu calendar in
North India. In 2011, the date of Hari Tritiya is August 2. The day is dedicated to women. Girls and women indulge in swinging, singing and dancing on the day. The festival is also known as Hariyali Teej in many regions.
