There is an Adhik Jyeshta Mahina or Extra Jyeshta Month in North Indian traditional Hindu calendar in 2026. This extra month is a unique feature in Hindu lunar calendars which happens mostly once in 2.5 years. Adhik Jyeshta Mahina in traditional North Indian calendar in 2026 is from May 17 to June 15. The extra month is dedicated to Bhagavan Sri Krishna and is also known as Purushottam Mas. The current year as per traditional Hindu North Indian Calendar is Vikram Samvat 2083.

Please note that Adhik Jyeshta month 2026 in traditional Hindu calendar followed in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka is also from May 17 to June 15.
