Maicha Vengat Sree Vayalkkara Bhagavathy temple is located at Maicha near Cheruvathur in Kasaragod district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi and numerous other deities. The annual kaliyattam theyyam thira festival is held for three days in Malayalam Meena Masam – April 3 to April 5.

Vengat Sree Vayalkkara Bhagavathy temple are Kundor Chamundi, Vayanattu Kulavan
and Kurathi theyyam.
The temple has a small chathura sreekovil for the main deity. The roof of the small shrine is decorated with traditional temple motifs. There are other smaller sreekovils. Some deities are offered worship under trees and upon raised platforms. The shrine observes important rituals and festivities including Sankranti in every month and yearly Vishu.
