About 10 kilometers from Auraiya city in Uttar Pradesh, on NH-19 near Fatehpur, Karampur, lies Sankat Mochan Bajrang Bali Hanuman Ji Mandir of great significance, renowned far and wide. It is believed that any devotee who makes a vow here with true devotion never returns disappointed. The shrine is famous for its annual Hanuman Jayanti festival. In Sankat Mochan Bajrang Bali Hanuman Ji Mandir Hanuman Jayanti festival 2026 date is April 2.
The temple is approximately 400 years old. Every Saturday
and Tuesday, bhajan and kirtan (devotional singing) are held here. It is said
that any wish made sincerely by a devotee at this place is always fulfilled.
Special pujas, ritual, bhandara and satsang are part of the
annual Hanuman Jayanti festival.
Failed Attempt By Engineers To Shift The Temple
During the construction of NH-19, the temple was located directly in the path of the planned highway. The contractor company attempted to relocate the temple and reinstall the idol elsewhere. However, as soon as machines were brought in, various kinds of snakes appeared, and the machinery stopped working. The attempt to relocate was dropped.
