Sree Pacha Vayanattu Kulavan temple is located at Moonunirath in Azhikode North in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Vayanattu Kulavan and other deities. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for five days in Malayalam Meena Masam – Meenam 16 to Meenam 18 (March 29 to March 31).
The important theyyams that can be witnessed at Sree Pacha Vayanattu Kulavan temple are Edalapurathu Chamundi theyyam, Gulikan theyyam, Kandanarkelan theyyam, Karivedan theyyam and Vayanattu Kulavan theyyam.
This is a small shrine with a chathura sreekovil – square
sanctum sanctorum. Some deities are worshipped on square platforms and under
trees. The roof and walls of the main shrine are decorated with traditional
temple motifs. Sankranti in every month is of great significance.
