Mattool Azeekkal Sree Poomarathin Keezhil Bhagavathy Kavu temple is located at Matool in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi and other deities that are worshipped in kavu, sacred places and temples in the region. The theyyam festival is held here for a couples of days annually in April.

Important theyyams that can be witnessed at Mattool Azeekkal Sree Poomarathin Keezhil Bhagavathy Kavu temple include Gulikan theyyam and Bhagavathi theyyam.

This is a small shrine with a chathura sreekovil for the main deity. There are other smaller sreekovils and raised platforms for other deities. Roofs and walls of the temples have religious motifs and decorations. Certain deities are worshipped under trees. Sankranti in a Malayalam month is of great importance.
