Madakkara Tharavadu Devasthanam temple is located at Neerkadavu in Azhikode South in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Vayanattu Kulavan and other deities. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for three days in Malayalam Meena Masam – Meenam 25 to Meenam 27 (April 7 to April 9).

Tharavadu Devasthanam temple are Gulikan theyyam, Karanavar theyyam, Vayanattu
Kulavan theyyam and Kathivanoor Veeran theyyam.
This is a small shrine with a chathura sreekovil – square
sanctum sanctorum. Some deities are worshipped on square platforms and under
trees. The roof and walls of the main shrine are decorated with traditional
temple motifs. Sankranti in every month is of great significance.
