Aduthila Nadakkal Tharavadu Dharma Daivam temple is located at Aduthila near Pazhayangadi in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Thai Paradevatha (Thamburatti), Vayanattu Kulavan, Vishnumoorthi and several other deities that are worshipped in tharavadu, kavu and sacred places in the region. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for two days in Malayalam Makara Masam – Makaram 25 to Makaram 26 (February 8 and February 9).
The important theyyams that can be witnessed at Aduthila Nadakkal Tharavadu temple are Thai Paradevatha theyyam, Kandanarkelan theyyam, Vayanattu Kulavan theyyam, Vishnumoorthi theyyam, Kudiveeran theyyam, Kundor Chamundi theyyam, Gulikan theyyam and Kurathi Amma theyyam.
The temple has a chathura sreekovil (square sanctum sanctorum) for the main deity. The walls and roof of the shrine are decorated with traditional motifs. There are other smaller sanctums for other deities. Some deities are worshipped atop small square platforms and under trees. The temple performs special pujas and rituals on Sankranti day. Prathishta Dinam is observed annually on May 7. Special pujas including Ganapathi Homam are performed in Karikada Masam (July – August). Special rituals are also held on Thulam 13 as per Malayalam calendar.
