Thanwamangalam Vishnu temple is located at Olayikkara near Pachapoika in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Bhagavan Vishnu. Thanwamangalam Vishnu temple timing is from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM in the morning and 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM in the evening.
The important upa devatas worshipped in the temple are Devi,
Ganapathy and Ayyappan.
The temple has an east facing chathura sreekovil. The shrine has a namaskara mandapam, chuttambalam. Balikallu can be seen in front of the shrine. The shrine has a well-maintained pond. The temple still maintains the ancient traditional look.
Thursday is an important day in a week here. Ekadashi
falling on the eleventh day of a fortnight is of great importance here. Vishu
and Sri Krishna Jayanti are important festivals. During Vaishaka Masam and
Vrischika Masam there are special pujas and rituals here.
