Peringali Arayadath Tharavadu Kavu temple is located at Peringali near Vengad in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Ilamkarumakan, Poothadi, Karivedan and similar other deities that are worshipped in sacred places in the region. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for two days in Malayalam Makara Masam – Makaram 25 and Makaram 26 (February 8 and Feb 9).
The main temple is a chathura sreekovil – square sanctum
sanctorum. There are other smaller sreekovils and raised square platforms for
other deities. Some deities are worshipped under trees. Vishu is an important
festival here. Sankranti in every Malayalam month is of importance.

Arayadath Tharavadu Kavu temple are Chingeri Vanavar theyyam, Ilam Karuvan
theyyam, Poothadi and Karivedan theyyam.
