Peringadi Mangad Vanukanda Kovilakam Bhagavathy temple is located at Chokli Mangad near Peringadi New Mahe. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy, Gulikan and numerous other deities that are worshipped in temples and sacred places in the region. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for three days in Malayalam Kumbha Masam – Kumbham 11 to Kumbham 13 (February 23 to February 25).
This is a small beautiful temple with a chathura sreekovil – square sanctum sanctorum – for the main deity. The roof and the walls of the shrine are traditionally decorated. There are other smaller sreekovil and square platforms for other deities. Some deities are worshipped under trees.

Amma theyyam, Bhagavathy theyyam, Karimbam Bhagavathi theyyam, Oorpzhassi
theyyam, Porkkali Bhagavathy theyyam, Kuttichathan theyyam, Vettakkorumakan
theyyam and Vasoorimala theyyam.
In certain years one can witness three to four Gulikan
theyyam together at the shrine.

തിരുമുടിയേറ്റ്, അഞ്ചിന് വേട്ടയ്ക്കൊരുമകന് തേങ്ങയേറ്. ആറിന് ഗുരുസി, അത്താഴപൂജയോടെ ഉത്സവസമാപനം.
