Keezhallur Chalil Bhagavathy temple is located at Keezhallur in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy and other deities that are worshipped in the region. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for three days in Malayalam Kumbha Masam – Kumbham 20 to Kumbham 22 (March 4 to March 6).
This is a small shrine with a chathura sreekovil – square
sanctum sanctorum. Two main deities are worshipped in the single sanctum. There
are other chathura sreekovils for other deities. Some deities are worshiped
atop square platforms. Some deities are offered prayers under trees. Sankranti
in every Malayalam month is of great importance here.

ചാലില് ഭഗവതിക്ഷേത്രത്തില് തിറയുത്സവം March 4 തുടങ്ങും.അഞ്ചിന്
വൈകുന്നേരം കൂത്താമ്പേത്ത് ഭഗവതിക്ഷേത്രത്തില്നിന്ന് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലേക്ക് തിരുവാഭരണഘോഷയാത്ര നടക്കും. ചുറ്റുവിളക്ക്, നിറമാല തിരുനൃത്തം എന്നിവ രാത്രിയില് നടക്കും. ആറിന് രാവിലെ നാലുമണിക്ക് ചാലില് ഭഗവതിയുടെ തിരുമുടി നിവരും. ഉച്ചയോടെ തിറയുത്സവം സമാപിക്കും.
