Chavassery Palora Muchilottu Bhagavathy Kavu temple is located at Palora near Chavasseri in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy and other deities that are worshipped in tharavadu, sacred places and kavu in Kannur region. The annual theyyam kaliyattam thira festival in the temple is held for three days in Malayalam Kumbha Masam – Kumbham 1 to Kumbham 3 (February 13 to February 15).
The theyyams that are performed at Chavasseri Palora Muchilottu Bhagavathy Kavu temple are Kannangattu Bhagavathy theyyam, Muchilottu Bhagavathy theyyam, Pulloor Kali theyyam and Vishnumoorthi theyyam.
The temple has square sanctum sanctorum – chathura sreekovil
(s) for main deities. Other deities popularly worshipped in Kavu and temples in
Kannur region are also worshipped in the temple in small sreekovils, under
trees and on square platforms. Sankranti and Vishu are important days in the
temple.

പാളോറ മുച്ചിലോട്ട് ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രോത്സവം Feb 13 മുതല് 15 വരെ നടക്കും. 14-ന് രാവിലെ കണ്ണങ്ങാട്ട്
ഭഗവതി തെയ്യം. 15-ന് രാവിലെ കണ്ണങ്ങാട്ട്
ഭഗവതി, പുല്ലൂര് കാളി, വിഷ്ണുമൂര്ത്തി തെയ്യങ്ങള് കെട്ടിയാടും. ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് ഒന്നിന്മുച്ചിലോട്ട് ഭഗവതിയുടെ തിരുമുടി നിവരും. രാത്രി ആറാടിക്കലോടെ ഉത്സവം സമാപിക്കും.
