Chavassery Mannora Mahadalam Muchilottu Kavu temple is located at Mannora near Chavesseri in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Muchilottu Bhagavathy and numerous other deities that are popularly worshiped in kavu and other sacred places in the region. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for four days in Malayalam Makara Masam – Makaram 18 to Makaram 21 (February 1 to Feb 4).
The main deity is worshipped in a chathura sreekovil –
square sanctum sanctorum. There are other sreekovils for other deities. Some
important deities are worshipped atop square platforms and under trees. Vishu
is an important festival here. Sankranti in every Malayalam month is of great
importance.

theyyam, Muchilottu Bhagavathy theyyam, Narambil Bhagavathy theyyam, Puliyoor
Kali theyyam, Puliyoor Kannan theyyam and Vishnumoorthi theyyam.
