Vennakkal Bhagavathy Theyyam kolam is a rare theyyam seen during the annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival in Kannur region of Kerala. As per information this is a fierce manifestation of Goddess Bhagavathy. As per Vennakkal Bhagavathy theyyam story, the Goddess after annihilating the demons makes her presence felt in a tharavadu. The elderly member of the tharavadu gives the Goddess a place of worship. To keep the Goddess in a peaceful state and to get her blessings a theyyam is performed annually.
