Ramanthali Varakeel Dharmasastham Kottam Narambil Bhagavathy temple is located at Ramanthali in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi. The annual theyam thira kaliyattam festival is organized in the temple for three days in Malayalam Makara Masam – Makaram 27 to Makaram 29 (February 10 to February 12).
This is a small shrine with a chathura sreekovil and raised
platforms. Various deities that are worshipped in temples in Kannur regions are
worshiped here. Sanskranti and Vishu are two important festivals here.
The important theyyams performed in the shrine are
Vishnumoorthi theyyam, Vettakkorumakan theyyam, Thai Paradevata theyyam, Sreebhootham
theyyam, Madayil Chamundi theyyam and Narambil Bhagavathy theyyam.
