Ramanthali Koyithatta Tharavad Pazhassi Bhagavathi Temple – Theyyam Kaliyattam Festival

Ramanthali Koyithatta Tharavad Pazhassi Bhagavathi temple is located near Ramanthali in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi. The annual theyam thira kaliyattam festival is organized in the temple for two days in Malayalam Meda Masam – Medam 9 to Medam 10 (April 22 to April 23).

The important theyyams performed in the shrine are Vishnumoorthi theyyam, Vettakkorumakan theyyam, Thai Paradevata theyyam, Rakta Chamundi theyyam, Madayil Chamundi theyyam and Pazhassi Bhagavathy theyyam.
