Kuruvantheri Valiya Veedu Bhagavathy temple is located at Kuruvantheri near Mattanur in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for three days in Malayalam Kumbha Masam – Kumbham 15 to Kumbham 17 (February 27 to March 1).
This is a small temple with a square sanctum sanctorum –
chathura sreekovil. Some deities are worshipped on raised square platforms which
are exposed to sun and rain. Some deities are worshipped under tree. Vishu is
an important festival here.

Valiya Veedu Bhagavathy temple are Bhagavathy theyyam, Bappooran theyyam,
Sasthappan theyyam and Vishnumoorthi theyyam.

കല്ല്യാണ കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് താലിയണിയല്‍, മേലേരി പ്രവേശം, തിരുമുടിനിവരല്‍, കൂടിയാട്ടം,
വൈകീട്ട് തിരുമുടി ആറാട്ട്, വിഷ്ണുമൂര്‍ത്തി വാരണ എന്നിവയുണ്ടാകും
