Karayil Pilakkal Tharavadu Devasthanam temple is located at Karayil near Payyanur in Kannur district, Kerala. This is a small tharavadu shrine. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for three days in Malayalam Kumbha Masam – Kumbham 27 to 29 (March 11 to March 13).
The important theyyams performed at Karayil Pilakkal Tharavadu Devasthanam temple are Pottan theyyam, Thondachan theyyam and Vishnumoorthi theyyam.
