Pariyaram Udayapuram temple is located at Pariyaram in Kannur district, Kerala. This is a comparatively bigger shrine and is noted for its traditional architecture. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy and other deities that are worshipped in the tharavadu and kavu in kannur region. The annual theyyam kaliyattam thira festival in the temple is held for four days in Dhanu Masam – Dhanu 20 to Dhanu 23 (January 4 to January 7).
The temple has a rectangular sreekovil, chuttambalam and shrines of upa devatas.
The theyyams that are performed in this temple during kaliyattam festival are Puthiya Bhagavathy theyyam, Pulli Karinkali theyyam, Puliyoor Kannan theyyam, Vishnumoorthi theyyam, Gulikan theyyam, Kundor Chamundi theyyam, Karinthiri Nair theyyam, Pulikandan theyyam and Puliyoor Kali theyyam.
Sankranti and Vishu are important days in the temple.
Deities popularly worshipped in Kavu and temples in Kannur region are also worshipped in the temple in small sreekovils and square platforms.
The annual festival days are noted various unique pujas and rituals, melam, decoration, fireworks and traditional temple performing art forms.
