Achan Daivam (അച്ഛൻ ദൈവം) is a famous theyyam performed in many temples, kavu and tharavadu homes in North Kerala especially in Kannur, Kasaragod and part of Kozhikode districts of Kerala. As per information, Achan Daivam theyyam was an elder of the family who showed great courage or performed great sacrifice to protect the family interest or that of society.
