Moozhikkara Sree Oniyan Bhagavathi temple is located at Moozhikkara near Kodiyeri, Thalassery, in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy. The annual kaliyattam – theyyam festival in the temple is held for three days in Malayalam Makara Masam – Makaram 10, Makaram 11 and Makaram 12 (January 24 to January 26).
This is a small temple with a chathura sreekovil. There are no other major structures here. Subsidiary deities have their designated places.
The theyyams that are part of the annual Kaliyattam festival here are Karanavar theyyam, Sasthappan – Kuttichathan theyyam, Thekkan Gulikan theyyam, Vasoorimala theyyam and Khandakarnan theyyam.
The shrine observes various other rituals and pujas based on Shakteya rituals. Vishu is an important festival in the temple.
