Mavoor Kalchira Narasimha Moorthi temple is located at Mavoor in Kozhikode district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Narasimha Avatar of Bhagavan Vishnu. Kalchira Narasimhamoorthi temple is a traditional Kerala style temple. The temple follows Vaishnava pujas and rituals.
The shrine has a chathura sreekovil, namaskara mandapam, shrines of upa devatas and nalambalam. The temple has got all typical Kerala symbols including trees and kalvilakku.
The annual festival in the temple is famous for rare Narasimha murthy pujas. The festivities include traditional Kerala temple art forms, melam and rituals. The annual Narasimha Jayanti festival in Meda masam is of great importance in the temple.
The shrine also observes Vishu, Thiruvonam and Vinayaka Chaturthi.
