At the moonrise time face the direction in which moon was last seen. You can offer arghya in this direction and break the fast by sipping water.
करवा चौथ के दिन यदि बादल चांद को ढक ले तो उस समय व्रती महिलाओं को चन्द्रोदय के समय का अनुमान होना चाहिए। इसके लिए वह पंचांग की सहायता ले सकती हैं। चांद यदि नहीं दिखाई देता है तो चन्द्रोदय के अनुमानित समय और दिशा में मुख करके चांद का स्मरण करें। फिर अपने पति के हाथों जल ग्रहण कर लें।
