Kumarapuram Pazhantheruvu Ganapati temple is located at Kumarapuram in Palakkad district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Ganesha or Mahaganapati. The shrine observes the annual Vinayaka Chaturthi in Malayalam Chingamasam.
There are no major structures at the temple. The shrine is exclusively dedicated to Ganapathi. The deity faces east and is in sitting posture.
The shrine observes special pujas during Shukla paksha Chaturthi – the fourth day after new moon day or Amavasya.
The shrine performs various pujas and rituals including homams and vahana puja. The deity is offered prayers before all auspicious events. The belief is that the deity removes all kinds of obstacles in life.
