Sree Balabhadra temple is located on the Perumpilly Church Road at Perumpilly, Elamkunnapuzha near Njarakkal, Kochi, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi. The annual festival in the temple is held in Malayalam Edava masam (May – June).
This is a beautiful Kerala style temple with a kodimaram, chuttambalam, namaskara mandapam, shrines of upa devatas and chathura sreekovil. The temple has beautiful sculptures on the roof of sreekovil.
The annual festival in the temple is famous for various tantric pujas and rituals. The shrine is decorated beautifully with lights and lamps on the occasion. Traditional temple performing art forms, melam, ezhunnallathu, dance and music are part of the festival.
The temple is also observes Navratri with Vidyarambham and Thrikarthika festival.
