Vallikunnam Ellippakulam Vattakkad Devi temple is located at Vallikunnam in Alappuzha district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi. The annual festival in the temple is held on Makayiram nakshatra day in Meena Masam (March - April).
This is traditional temple with a chathura sreekovil of Bhagavathi. The shrine has upa devatha temples, nalambalam, namaskara mandapam, huge trees, pond and kalathattu.
The annual festival, which begins with kodiyettam, is noted for Tantric pujas and rituals. Procession, ezhunnallathu, huge effigies of characters from Hindu puranas and epics and melam are part of the festival. The festival concludes with arattu procession.
The shrine observes Vishu, Pathamudayam, Navratri, Ashtami, Navami, Vidyarambham and Vrischikam Chirappu mahotsavam.
