Chittamveedu Devi Temple – Festival

Chittamveedu Devi temple is located at Cherukulam – Makkada in Kozhikode district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Devi or Bhagavathy. The annual festival in the temple is held in Kumbha Masam (February – March). The festival coincides with Bharani nakshatra day in the month.

This is a small temple with an ancient Bhagavathy bimbham. The annual festival is famous for the various rituals including kalasam and thira.

The shrine also observes Thrikarthika and Navratri festival.
