Valapad Cheruvil Sri Bhadrakali Annapoorneshwari Temple

Valapad Cheruvil Sri Bhadrakali Annapoorneshwari temple is located at Valapad in Thrissur district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Bhadrakali and Annapoorneshwari. The annual festival in the temple is held on Makayiram nakshatra in Makara Masam (January – February).

This is an ancient temple small temple with two sreekovil and upa devata shrines.

The annual festival is like any other temple festival in Thrissur district and is noted for caparisoned elephants and melam. There are kolams, procession, temple art forms, pujas and rituals associated with Bhagavathy temples. The festival concludes with arattu.

The shrine also observes Navratri and Thrikarthika festivals.
