Thannithode Parakkulam Durga Devi temple is located at Thannithodu in Pathanamthitta district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Durga. This is a small temple located atop a hill amidst sylvan surroundings. The annual festival in the temple is held on Karthika nakshatra in Makaram month and is known as Thannithode Parakkulam Durga Devi Makara Karthika Mahotsavam.
Pongala festival is held on Karthika nakshatra day in Kumbha Masam (February - March).
This is a small temple with a square sreekovil. There are a couple of upa devatas outside the main temple and this includes Ganapathy. The shrine also has a temple pond.
The annual festival in the temple is famous melam, procession and unique rituals associated with Bhagavathi temples in central Travancore.
The temple is frequented by peacocks.
