Peroor Shiva Temple – Edappavoor – Peroor Mahadeva Temple - Festival

Peroor Shiva temple, also known as Edappavoor – Peroor Mahadeva temple, is located on the banks of Pampa River at Edappavoor near Ranni in Pathanamthitta district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Shiva. The annual pratishta festival is held in Kumbha Masam.

This is a small Shiva temple with a chathura sreekovil. The Shivling worshipped in the temple faces east.

The shrine observes the annual Mahashivratri festival.

Pradosham (13th day of a fortnight) and Mondays are significance in the temple. The shrine also observes Thrikarthika in Vrischika Masam and Thiruvathira in Dhanu Masam.
