Paravur Yakshikavu Devi temple is located at Paravur in Kollam district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Mother Goddess Bhagavathi in the form of Yakshi. The annual festival in the Yakshi Kavu temple is held on Anizham nakshatra day in Kumbha Masam (February – March).
This is a small temple with a square sanctum sanctorum. The temple has got upa devatas – sarpam or nagam.
The annual festival is famous for melam, traditional temple art forms, and pujas and rituals associated with Bhagavathy temple.
Navratri and vidyarambham (ezhuthiniruthu) is observed in the temple.
The temple is located amidst beautiful surroundings especially the backwaters.
