Murikkungal Sree Dharma Sastha temple is located at Murikkungal in Thrissur district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Ayyappa or Dharmasastha. The annual festival in the temple is held on Uthram nakshatra in Kumbha Masam and is famous as Murikkungal pooram.
The annual festival is famous Kavadiyattam, caparisoned elephants and panchavadyam. More than six elephants participate in the pooram festival.
The shrine observes the annual Mandala Kalam. Ramayana Masam is another important holy period in the shrine.
The shrine has a nalambalam, kodimaram and a chathura sreekovil. The deity in sitting posture faces east.
