Kundurkunnu Mullackal Shiva Temple – Festival

Kundurkunnu Mullackal Shiva temple is located at Kundurkunnu in Palakkad district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Shiva – Mahadeva. Shivratri in Kumbha Masam (February – March) is an important occasion at Kundurkunnu Shiva temple.

The upa devatas worshipped in the temple are Ganapathi, Sastha or Ayyappa, Goddess Bhagavathi and Murugan.

A Shivling is worshipped in the sreekovil. The shrine has a chuttambalam and namaskara mandapam.

Shivratri is associated with Tantric pujas, dhara, homams and other Shiva temple rituals.

The Morning Darshan and Puja timings are from 5:30 AM to 9:30 AM
The Evening Darshan and Puja timings are from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM
