Thiruvaraikkal Bhagavathy Temple - Thiruvazhiyode - Festival

Thiruvaraikkal Bhagavathy Temple is located at Thiruvazhiyode on the Cherpulassery – Palakkad road in Palakkad district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi. The Pattu Thalappoli festival in the temple is held in Dhanu Masam (December – January).

The annual pooram festival in the temple is held in Medam month. It is a 8-day festival and is famous for ezhunnallathu and melam.

The small but beautiful shrine has a kodimaram and a kall vilakkukal. There are no major upa devatas with separate shrines.

The annual naga pratishta festival in the tempe is held in Malayalam Mithuna Masam (June - July).
