Engandiyoor Sree Subramanya Sasthamangalam temple is located at Engandiyoor in Thrissur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Subrahmanya or Muruga. The annual Thaipooyam festival observed in Makarm month (January – February) is an important festival in the temple.
The Thaipooyam festival is famous for temple music, various types of Kavadis, Shoolam, and Kavadiyattam. The festival is one of the most colorful festivals in the region.
The temple also observes Sashti fasting in every Malayalam month – the sixth day after Karutha Vavu or Amavasya.
The other festivals observed in the temple include Skanda Sashti and Thrikarthika.
