Edava Parayil Sree Kumareshwaram temple is located at Edava in Kollam district and is dedicated to Subrahmanya or Muruga. The annual festival in the temple is held on Punartham nakshatra in Kumbham Month. Another important festival in the temple is the Thaipooyam held in Makaram month (January – February).
