The mantra should be chanted during pradosh period – staring
1.5 hours before sunset to sunset. Start chanting the mantra on Tuesday or Friday.
The person chanting the mantra should take bath and wear red or saffron color clothes.
The person should sit facing east and light a lamp using sesame oil. Offer a red color fruit and a red color flower. Wear red sandalwood and light red color flower agarbatti or use red color flower fragrance.
He should then create a mental image of Narasimha in mind.
Then chant the mantra 108 times.
