Amruthamkulangara Temple Kollam

Amruthamkulangara temple is located at Kollam and the shrine is dedicated to Shiva. The temple is important because the Shivling pratishta in the temple was performed by Sri Narayana Guru.

As per history, the Shivling worshiped in the temple was retrieved by Sri Narayana Guru from a pond (kulam).

Maha Shivratri in Kumbham month and Thrikarthika in Vrischikam month are of great significance here.

Monday is of great importance in the temple. The shrine observes Pradosham on the 12th or the 13th day of a fortnight.
